WHAT ELSE WILL I RECEIVE?

Laura Kesler Photography wedding clients also receive (a) a complementary initial consultation, (b) continuous email and phone support in the months and weeks leading up to your wedding, (c) a fully customized (for Signature and Classic Collections) or partially customized (for Essentials and Elopement Collections) written photography timeline, (d) album/book design fee and services, (e) three rounds of album/book revisions, and (f) a variety of album/book cover choices and extras.  I don't want clients to feel "nickel and dimed," and I include complimentary optional upgrades such as page gilding (only available on albums), page treatments, album/book storage boxes, and overnight shipping in all of my collections.

WHAT GEOGRAPHIC AREAS DO YOU COVER?

Centralia, Chehalis, DuPont, Gig Harbor, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Lacey, Lakewood, Olympia, Puyallup, Tacoma, Yakima, Yelm, and immediate surrounding areas are included in Laura Kesler Photography's zone of coverage.  I am available to photograph weddings at more distant locations for an additional travel fee.

ARE YOU COMFORTABLE PHOTOGRAPHING SAME-SEX / LGBT WEDDINGS?

Absolutely! I value diversity and happily serve ALL couples.

ARE ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS SEPARATE FROM YOUR WEDDING COLLECTIONS?

They are; please contact me for details, and click here to see samples of my engagement session photography style.

WILL YOU BE BRINGING A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER TO MY WEDDING TO ASSIST?

Prices quoted are for one photographer (me!).  Having said that, my husband Chris is also a photographer and frequently serves as my assistant when he is available.  In such cases, he will attend your wedding with me and assist me with gear set-up and lighting.  He will also serve as a second photographer during the ceremony and reception.  While I do not guarantee his presence at any particular wedding or event, you will receive the benefit of his services for free when and if he is is able to attend.  (Alternatively, a contracted second shooter is available as an add-on for an additional fee.)

WILL I SEE EVERY IMAGE THAT YOU TAKE?

At your wedding, I will be taking LOTS of photos - many more than will be delivered.  This is in large part because some of them will capture closed eyes, unexpected movement or motion blur, unexpected changes in light, an unflattering angle or pose, duplicate poses/scenes, etc.  These types of images are commonly referred to as "outtakes," and are not included in client galleries or delivered images.  All others are deemed to be usable and are delivered.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?

While I work hard to capture as many significant moments, groupings, and details as I can, I do not guarantee that any particular moment/person/group/detail will be photographed, nor do I guarantee any particular number of photos will be taken or delivered.  I strive to balance quantity with quality, with quality being given the higher priority.  Generally speaking, most clients receive at least approximately 40 images per hour of coverage - but again, this is not guaranteed.

WHEN AND HOW WILL MY IMAGES BE DELIVERED?

Within 24 hours of your wedding, I will have backed up all of your images and begun culling and editing them.  Within 48 hours of your wedding, I will have selected four (4) of them for a rough edit and "sneak peek."  I will email these these to you within that same 48 hour period.  Your remaining wedding images will be culled, edited, and delivered to you within six weeks of your wedding date, and delivered via a private, password-protected gallery.  You are free to share this gallery with others, or to keep it private.  Anyone you give gallery access to will be able to view and download your images, and to order prints and products from within your gallery.  You will have 30 days in which to download your images, which are provided as full-resolution non-watermarked JPEG files.

WHEN AND HOW WILL MY ALBUM OR PHOTO BOOK BE DELIVERED?

Within 21 days of delivering your image gallery to you, I will send you an initial album/book proof via an online proofing site.  You will have 14 days to submit revision requests, and I in turn will delivery your update proof within 14 days of that.  Your second and third revision requests are done within new 14-day turn-around cycles.  Once all revisions are complete and you have approved the final proof (or upon expiration of the current revision deadline), I will order your album or book.  The crafting of your album/book typically takes 7 to 10 days, after which it will be shipped directly to your address via complimentary business-day overnight shipping.

CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL ALBUM OR BOOK PAGES/SPREADS, LARGER ALBUM DIMENSIONS, AND/OR UPGRADED ALBUM COVERS (SUCH AS ACRYLIC OR CUT-OUT)?

You will have the option to purchase upgrades in size, covers, and spreads - but no such purchase is expected or required.  Other optional upgrades (page gilding [albums only], page treatments, storage boxes, and overnight shipping, are on the house and provided at no extra charge!

DO YOU OFFER PARENT/COMPANION ALBUM AND BOOKS?

Yes!!  Duplicate parent/companion albums and books make great parent and family gifts, and are offered at a discounted price since there is no additional design work that needs to be done for them.  To quality as a discounted parent/companion album or book, the album or book spreads must be exact duplicates of the original (though they can be downsized, ie from a 12x12" album to an 8x8" album, for an even greater discount).

DO YOU OFFER GALLERY WRAPS, METAL AND ACRYLIC WALL ART, AND LARGE FRAMED PRINTS?

Laura Kesler Photography offers all of these and more!  Detailed information pertaining to these products will be provided during your initial consultation.  If you are considering investing in wall art, please let me know sooner than later in the planning process; doing so will help me ensure I create portraits that will be best suited (ie, with correct aspect ratios) for your wall space.

CAN I PURCHASE THE RAW FILES OF MY IMAGES, RATHER THAN JPEGs?

Laura Kesler Photography strives to deliver only beautifully finished images and products, and therefore provides only finished JPEG files and printed products to clients.

RAW files that come straight out of the camera without any post processing are similar in some ways to the negatives that come of out film cameras and still require developing.  Laura Kesler Photography processes (or "develops") our RAW files, ensuring that they are properly calibrated for our cameras and lenses, processed for beautiful exposure and color, and have been individually assessed for possible noise reduction, straightening, cropping, and other post-processing techniques that lend the final prints and images a polished and finished appearance.  Once this has been done, the images are exported as full-resolution JPEG files in order to fully merge the post-processing effects into the final images and prepare them for delivery.

Just as most authors don't sell their initial book drafts and other professionals don't submit their initial project work to clients as their final product, Laura Kesler Photography does not, under any circumstances, provide RAW files as part of our services, collections, or delivered products.

CAN I PURCHASE THE COPYRIGHT TO MY IMAGES?

I do not sell or transfer my copyright or ownership of the images that I create.  I do, however, provide all wedding clients with a print-and-share release, authorizing you to print and and share them with others (for personal use and purposes only) via email and social media.  While I retain full ownership and copyright, the images you receive as part of your Collection/purchase will be licensed to you for printing and sharing (for personal use) without any attribution to Laura Kesler Photography (although I am always grateful to clients when they chose to provide attribution to Laura Kesler Photography on social media!).

WILL STROBE/FLASH/ARTIFICIAL LIGHT BE USED?

Probably - especially during family portraits and during the reception, and on dark and overcast days and in darker rooms.  Please note that strobe/flash photography can trigger seizures in those with epilepsy and other conditions.  It is imperative that you let me know beforehand if you and/or any other persons present may have any sensitivities to the use of strobe or flash light.

I LIKE WHAT I'M HEARING!  HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
