Had a wonderful time photographing this renewal ceremony and reception! Market Hall is large (reportedly over 5000 square feet, with two levels and an awesome "getting ready" area upstairs). It provides rustic ambience (especially outside, where there are cobblestone/brick streets and twinkle lights hanging from street lights) to weddings, vow renewals, and events.

The "getting ready" area/bridal suite, located on the second floor, was lovely!! Large windows allowed natural light to stream in, and the inside walls were painted a neutral gray (very nice for wedding photography!). The entire "getting ready" space had a light and airy feel to it, and there were numerous places to hang clothing and wedding attire. Sheer drapes were able to be pulled across the windows to diffuse the light, or pulled back to let more into the room. In both cases, sunshine bathed the bride's gorgeous wedding dress in perfect light.

The natural light made the space functional for bridal makeup and hair to be done on site, as did the spaciousness of the room. Tables bureaus, and chairs made it a comfortable environment for the bride, her bridal party, relatives, and the hair and makeup team. The quality of natural light in both areas made for gorgeous wedding preparation images and bridal portraits.

This was a military ceremony, and I incorporated part of the groom's uniform pants into the couple's ring photos.

The groom's side of the "getting ready" area was a bit smaller than the bride's, but more spacious and comfortable than the groom's area at many other venues at which I have photographed.

From both the bride and groom's areas, I was able to look down through an inner window and see the ceremony area downstairs.

The couple decorated their ceremony area with elegant drapery - classic, timeless, and so, so pretty!

We took advantage of the outdoor twinkle lights for post-ceremony portraits. There was quite a bit of ambience in cobblestone/brick streets just outside the Market Hall doors.

I had such a fun time photographing this couple's vow renewal ceremony! Wishing them happiness and love in the years ahead!!
