About

Hi! I'm Laura - the owner and photographer at Laura Kesler Photography LLC. Nice to meet you!

Laura Kesler Photography is a veteran-owned photography business located at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington.

As Laura Kesler Photography's primary photographer, I provide portrait and wedding photography services throughout DuPont, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Lacey, Lakewood, Olympia, and Tacoma, Washington. I also serve as a volunteer affiliate photographer for the Magic Hour Foundation, an organization that pairs those who are fighting cancer with photographers for complimentary photography sessions.

A bit more about Laura...

I am a part-time photographer, full-time lawyer, and retired military veteran. While lawyering is my full-time occupation, I am fortunate enough to work for an organization that permits me to serve as a photographer on a part-time basis. I perform photography services on weekends, evenings, and holidays. I love collaborating with others and creating photos that tell stories. I would love to serve as your visual storyteller!

I have an associate's degree in photography and media arts and work hard to continue my photography education on a continual basis - all with the goal of creating photos that you will love and that will reflect your unique story.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America and Professional Photographers of Washington and enjoy networking with fellow photographers and artists.

I am part of a big, blended family that includes my husband, five kids, and two sweet fur-babies!

Bailey and Kenai

Meet Bailey and Kenai - my rescue dogs/fur babies extraordinaire! They keep me company while I prep gear, edit photos, design albums, and perform administrative tasks. They love sleeping - so much so that I think they might be part sloth. They also love playing, especially with socks, tennis balls, and toilet paper tubes. They love eating taco scraps and pretzels dipped in peanut butter as well. They fill my days with endless amounts of unconditional love and rescued me as much as I rescued them.
